Delete your account

Pick and Chop, by Pick and Chop, Inc.

This page is for customers of Pick and Chop, the food ordering app and website operated by Pick and Chop, Inc. It applies to the Pick and Chop app on Google Play and the App Store and to accounts made on pickandchop.com. You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data tied to it at any time, and you do not need to sign in to ask.

How to delete your account

  1. In the app. Open the Pick and Chop app, go to Settings and choose Delete account. Your account is deleted at once.
  2. On this page. Fill in the form below with the email address or phone number of your account. We contact you there to confirm the account is yours, then delete it within 30 days of your request. The form does not delete anything by itself.
  3. By message. Use the contact form on our support page with the email address of your account.

Enter the email address or the phone number you use to sign in. One is enough.

What we delete

  • Your sign-in account, so nobody can sign in with it again.
  • Your name, email address and phone number on your customer profile.
  • Your saved delivery addresses.
  • Your marketing choices; all marketing email and text messages stop.
  • Your referral code and your link to a saved payment profile.
  • Your rewards: Passport stamps, points, store credit and promotions can no longer be used and cannot be restored.

What we keep, for how long, and why

  • Order records, for 7 years. Each order keeps what was ordered, the amounts, and the name, contact details and delivery address recorded on it when it was placed. We keep these for tax and accounting law, to handle refunds, chargebacks and disputes, and to prevent fraud.
  • Payment and tax records, for 7 years. Charges, refunds and the sales tax collected on each order, for the same reasons. Card numbers are held by our payment processor, Stripe, and never by us.
  • Support, refund and safety records, for 7 years. Messages you sent us about an order, refund requests, and records of fraud or abuse, kept to resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.
  • The record of your deletion request, for 7 years, as proof that we carried it out.
  • Reviews you published stay on the restaurant's page. Ask us in your request and we will remove them.

Kept records are used only for the reasons above and are deleted or made anonymous when the period ends.

Deleting your account does not recall information already sent to the companies named in our Privacy Policy, such as the courier that delivered an order or our advertising partners. They hold it under their own retention rules.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

To have particular data deleted while keeping your account, such as a saved address or a review, send us a message on our support page. To stop marketing messages only, use the unsubscribe link in any email or reply STOP to any text.
